Synopsis

Set in the diverse and raw streets of Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the story follows 17-year-old Ali, a bold teen’s journey of self-discovery amid her overprotective single mother’s protective eye. Follow Ali as she rebels and discovers her musical talent through piano lessons with her wise mentor, Miss Liza Jane, and kindles a romance with street drummer Knuck. Struggles rise with personal conflicts involving her estranged father, Davis. Through triumphs and struggles, Ali learns to accept her identity, her roots, and the community that defines her. This universal and relatable coming-of-age journey is brimming with spirit, connection, and the power of music.
