Musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda re-tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, former U.S. Secretary of Treasury, through Hip-Hop and R&B music that has charmed millions of people for close to 10 years. By telling this story, Hamilton has gone on to win 11 Tony Awards, a Grammy Award, and a Pulitzer Prize in 2016!

Lin-Manuel Miranda not only produced this masterpiece, but he also starred as Alexander Hamilton when the show first came to Broadway.

The acting ensemble of the show, despite assuming the roles of white historical figures, is primarily made up of African and Hispanic actors. "This is a story about America then, told by America now," says Lin-Manuel Miranda. The current cast of the show comprises talented actors such as Trey Curtis as Alexander Hamilton, Tamar Greene as George Washington, Stephanie Jae Park as Eliza Hamilton, and others.
